Padel racket Adidas Metalbone Team Light 3.5 2026 lightness and control
What our customers think
The product that adapts to your everyday life
The control player
You're looking for precision at the baseline and controlled long rallies.
The forgiving defender
You prioritise manoeuvrability and a large sweet spot to defend under pressure.
The ambitious intermediate
You're progressing quickly and want a lightweight padel racket that forgives off-centre shots.
Everything you need to know in 6 figures
More than a product, a break
at the heart of your daily life
A padel racket designed for manoeuvrability and comfort
The Metalbone Team Light 3.5 2026 relies on a round shape and low balance to provide immediate feel in hand. You gain arm speed at the net, in bandeja as in vibora, without losing stability on volleys.
The weight held around 360–365 g limits fatigue over long matches and makes it easier to chain defensive shots from the back of court.

Materials focused on forgiveness and ball response
The fibreglass frame delivers a soft feel, ideal for players who build the point. The EVA Soft Performance core dampens vibrations and provides a gentle ball response, perfect for controlling depth.
The Octagonal structure and Low Poly rigidity minimise face twisting on off-centre hits.

Precise spin thanks to the Spin Blade Gritt
The Spin Blade Gritt surface treatment grips the ball to generate clean spin: short slice, kick on serve, lifts in attack. You vary your game without forcing your stroke and keep consistency in rallies.
A good compromise to improve technically with a forgiving padel racket.

Our tips to get started
A few good practices to make the most of your purchase from day one and keep it in perfect condition for years to come.
Add an overgrip
An absorbent overgrip improves grip and protects the original grip from wear.
Protect the frame
Apply a frame protector from the first use to shield the head against ground impacts.
Store safely
Avoid leaving your padel racket in the car boot during summer: heat degrades the EVA core and warps the frame.
Your questions, our answers
What playing level is this Metalbone Team Light 3.5 suited to?
It's ideal for intermediate players and advanced players who prioritise control. Its forgiving nature also makes it accessible to developing players who want a lightweight padel racket that's easy to handle.
What's the difference compared to the standard Team version?
The Light version weighs around 360–365 g versus 365–375 g for the classic Team. It offers enhanced manoeuvrability at the net and reduces arm strain during long matches, perfect for players seeking responsiveness.
How's the ball response?
Ball response is smooth and progressive thanks to the EVA Soft Performance core and fibreglass frame. You keep the ball in the face longer, which makes precise placements and short drop shots easier.
Do I need to add an overgrip straight away?
Yes, it's recommended. An overgrip adjusts the handle diameter to your hand, absorbs sweat and preserves the original grip. Plan on one overgrip every 8 to 15 sessions depending on your playing intensity.
Is this padel racket suitable for P250 and P500 competitions?
Yes, its versatility and control work well in P250 and P500 tournaments for defence-focused and constructive players. Pure power players will prefer a diamond-shaped model.
How do I maintain the frame and core?
Fit a frame protector from day one, wipe down the racket after each session and store it in a thermal racket cover. Avoid extreme temperature swings, which can weaken the EVA foam core and frame.
