Padel racket Babolat Technical Viper 2.5 surgical power
What our customers think

Everything you need to know in 6 figures
More than a product, a break
at the heart of your daily life
A padel racket built for pure attack
The Technical Viper 2.5 focuses entirely on head-heavy power. Its diamond shape concentrates mass towards the top of the face to turn every smash and vibora into a winning shot – tight, sharp and heavy.
The sweet spot is deliberately reduced and positioned at the top: this is the price of the explosive power that net attackers are after.

Construction 100% 12K carbon fibre
12K carbon weave delivers high rigidity that returns ball energy without loss. Ball exit is fast, crisp and perfectly direct for slicing bandeja shots and viboras alike.
The multi-layer X-EVA foam core calibrates response based on intensity: firm at full power, more forgiving on touch shots.

Who's it for? Advanced players and competitors
This padel racket is designed for advanced players who've mastered their technique and court positioning. Its rigidity demands good form to avoid vibrations on off-centre strikes.
At P500 and above, it becomes a formidable weapon for finishing points at net and defending the back glass with authority.

Our tips to get started
A few good practices to make the most of your purchase from day one and keep it in perfect condition for years to come.
Add an overgrip
On a rigid padel racket, an absorbent overgrip reduces vibrations and improves grip during long matches.
Protect the head
Apply a frame protector straight out of the box: the diamond shape often scrapes the glass during low defensive shots.
Warm up your arm
The 12K stiffness transmits more vibration to your elbow: 10 minutes of gradual warm-up prevents tendinitis.
Your questions, our answers
What playing level do I need for the Technical Viper 2.5?
It's designed for advanced players and competitors (P500 and above). Its rigidity and head-heavy balance require a polished technique. Not recommended for beginners and intermediate players still developing their skills.
Is the ball exit really crisp?
Yes, the combination of 12K carbon and X-EVA foam core produces a clean and quick ball exit, without trampoline effect. The ball comes off tight, ideal for flat smashes and sharp viboras.
How do I maintain the padel racket to make it last?
Store it in a thermal bag and avoid temperature swings (car boot in summer). Add a frame protector from your first match and clean the textured face with a dry cloth after each game.
Diamond or round shape: which should I choose between the Babolat models?
The diamond shape like the Viper 2.5 maximises power at the expense of forgiveness. If you want more control and a larger sweet spot, go for a round or hybrid shape.
What grip should I add to this racket?
An absorbent overgrip is recommended to dampen vibrations from the rigid frame. Choose a slightly thicker overgrip if you have large hands or play in humid conditions.
Does it cause arm vibrations?
12K carbon is rigid and transmits more vibrations than a softer padel racket. Proper warm-up, an absorbent overgrip and good technique reduce the risk of tennis elbow over time.
